1. Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of CrimsonShield VPN: the website at crimsonvpn.store, the Windows app, the phone setup (home-screen app, built-in phone VPN and Shortcut), Smart DNS and our VPN servers (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by 「 PhantomAsh™ 」 ("we", "us").

By buying a key, starting a free trial, logging in, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The service

CrimsonShield VPN encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through our servers, so websites see a server's IP address instead of yours. Features include server locations, a kill switch, split tunneling, protocol and port options, multi-device plans, Smart DNS for consoles and TVs, and console sharing from Windows.

A VPN improves your privacy, but it doesn't make you anonymous or protect you from everything. It won't stop malware or phishing, and it won't hide anything you share yourself, like logging in to an account.

3. Who can use it

• You must be at least 18, or at least 13 with permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms for you.
• You're responsible for making sure using a VPN is legal where you are. Some countries restrict or ban VPNs.
• You can't use the Service if we've banned you before.

4. License keys & devices

• Your license key is your account. There's no email or password, so anyone with your key can use your plan. Keep it private and store it somewhere safe. We can't recover a lost key unless you can prove it's yours, for example with your order link.
• Each plan allows a set number of devices at once: Solo 1, Basic 2, Pro 5, Ultimate 10. A Windows PC, a phone using the built-in VPN, and each WireGuard config all count as a device. You can remove a device in your dashboard to free its slot.
• Keys are for you and your household. Selling, renting or publicly sharing a key is not allowed unless you're one of our approved resellers.
• Trying to get around device limits, license checks or trial limits is a breach of these Terms.

5. Plans & payments

• Prices are shown in US dollars on the Get a key page and may change. A change never affects time you've already paid for.
• We accept cryptocurrency through NOWPayments, a third-party processor with its own terms. Network fees, exchange-rate changes and underpayments are your responsibility. If you pay less than the invoice, the key may not be issued until it's paid in full.
• Your key is issued automatically once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Keep your order link, because it's your receipt.
• Plans don't renew automatically. When a plan ends, the key stops working until you renew it. Renewing adds time to your current expiry date.
• Lifetime means for as long as CrimsonShield VPN runs the Service. It is not the lifetime of a person or a device.

6. Free trials & coupons

• Free trials last 3 days, and each person or internet connection gets one. To enforce this we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of the IP address that claimed a trial, not the IP itself.
• Using VPNs, proxies or other tricks to get more trials isn't allowed. Extra trial keys may be revoked without notice.
• Coupons are subject to the limits shown when you apply them, such as plans, expiry and number of uses. They have no cash value, can't be combined, and may be withdrawn at any time. A coupon obtained by abuse may be cancelled along with the key it was used for.

7. No refunds

All sales are final. We don't give refunds for any reason. That includes unused time, lost keys, keys banned for breaking these Terms, websites or streaming services that block VPNs, or the Service not working the way you expected. Crypto payments can't be reversed. Use the free trial to check that CrimsonShield works for you before you buy.

If something isn't working, come to our Discord. We'll do our best to fix it, but that's support, not a refund.

This doesn't take away any rights the law where you live gives you that can't be waived.

8. Resellers

• Only resellers we approve may sell CrimsonShield keys. Your reseller key gives access to the reseller dashboard, so keep it private.
• Reseller balance is non-refundable and can only be spent on keys and HWID resets. Each key comes with one free HWID reset. Extra resets cost $0.50 each, or use credits we've given you.
• You're responsible for your own customers: support, pricing, refunds and anything you promise them. Don't claim to be us, and don't make claims about the Service that aren't true.
• If you break these Terms, or your customers are abusing the Service, we may suspend your reseller account and the keys you created.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• break any law, or help anyone else break one;
• hack, scan, attack, DDoS or break into any system or network, including ours;
• send spam, run phishing, or spread malware;
• create, share or access child sexual abuse material. This means an immediate ban;
• harass, threaten, stalk or defraud anyone;
• commit fraud, including payment fraud or cheating on other services' promotions;
• share material that infringes copyright;
• run servers, proxies or services on our network for other people, or resell access to it;
• use so much of the network that it degrades the Service for other users.

We don't watch what you do. But if we get a credible report of abuse, or we see attack-like traffic patterns on a server, we may block ports or services, limit speed, or suspend keys to protect the network.

10. Privacy & no-logs

We don't log your activity. Our VPN servers are set up not to record:

• the websites or apps you use, or your DNS lookups;
• your traffic or its contents;
• your real IP address when you connect;
• when you connect or disconnect, or for how long.

What we do keep, only so the Service works:

• Your license: its plan, expiry, and your key stored in scrambled and encrypted form.
• Your devices: the name you give each one, its type, its VPN public key and internal VPN address, and your options. For the phone VPN, a separate login is stored encrypted.
• Orders: the plan, price, crypto payment ID and status. We don't know your name or email unless you tell us.
• Smart DNS: the home IP addresses you choose to register, because that's how the DNS servers know to answer you. You can remove them at any time in your dashboard.
• Hashed (scrambled, one-way) IP addresses for free-trial limits and short-term protection against login abuse. These can't be turned back into your IP.
• A login cookie or app token that keeps you signed in.

Because we don't have activity logs, we have nothing to hand over about what you did online. We may share the limited data above only if the law requires us to.

Our website and servers run on third-party providers (such as Netlify, DigitalOcean and NOWPayments), which may keep their own technical logs under their own privacy policies.

11. Smart DNS, console sharing & phones

• Smart DNS only changes how some streaming sites see your location. It doesn't encrypt your traffic or hide your IP, and it only works from networks you've registered.
• Console sharing uses Windows' own hotspot and Internet Connection Sharing. Devices you connect this way count as part of your use, and you're responsible for who joins your hotspot.
• The phone setup uses tools built into your phone (Settings → VPN, Shortcuts) or the free WireGuard app. Apple, Google and WireGuard are not part of CrimsonShield and have their own terms.
• The installer asks for Windows admin permission once. It uses it to install WireGuard's signed driver and a small CrimsonShield helper service, which is what lets the app connect without admin popups. The Windows app is open source under the MIT license.

12. Streaming & other services

Some websites, games and streaming services block VPNs or forbid them in their terms. We don't promise that any particular service will work through CrimsonShield. It's up to you to follow the terms of the services you use, and we're not responsible if one of them restricts your account.

13. Availability

• We work to keep the Service fast and online, but we don't guarantee uptime. There may be maintenance, outages or slowdowns.
• We may add, move or remove server locations and features. If a change leaves your plan without a location you need, talk to us.
• Your internet speed through the VPN depends on your connection, your distance to the server and how busy the server is.

14. Suspension & termination

If you break these Terms, we may suspend or revoke your key, remove devices, or ban you, with or without notice. You can stop using the Service at any time.

If we ever shut the Service down for good, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

15. Disclaimers & liability

No warranty. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost data, profits or accounts, or bans on other services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

You agree to cover us against claims caused by your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We'll announce big changes in our Discord. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
